Default Anyone using Green Gain or ECA???

I was just curious as to your experiences with either or both of these products? Also, if you use these products what other fertilizers are you using with them?

I'm using Green Gain and while I was trimming my tank out this afternoon I noticed something that I'd never seen before. Normally the leaves that float around the top of the tank (yes i'm lazy) rot after awhile. Instead, they all had miniature planlets growing at the base of them not unlike a java fern does with roots and all. So does it work..I say it looks that way.

I noticed this on Bacopa, Limnophila, and Hygrophila leaves so it was not a coincidence.

How long does a bottle last? I'm assuming that you only add it after trimming.

Have you noticed any difference in the number of new shoots, especially after trimming plants that sometimes have trouble when pruned? I was thinking that if the stuff really works, it might enable someone to just give all plants a haircut instead of replanting tops.

I've been able to haircut everything so far. The bottle lasts a long time. I add about 20 drops after a big water change or a huge haircut like I did today on the 75 gallon tank. I've been using it for a couple months now and the bottle is still quite full.
