gnome...I did not know they ate snails until oneday I saw one of mine doing just that. Then I knew where all my snails went.

on that note, I came home today to find my SAE chowing on a snail! maybe it is a universal revolt

that's very strange, normally SAE and Yamato shrimps cannot attack snails because of their shell. SAE, like all cyprinids, only has teeth in their throat, unlike characins which has teeth in the jaws.
