Default GAH! Tiger Barb issue.

My tiger barbs have recently become very aggressive towards my other fish, and I think I need to separate them. Will A 5 gallon tank be large enough for 3?

Add more if there's room. IME you need a group of at least 6 to 8 to keep the aggression spread out among themselves and leave other fish alone.

Yup they are Snippy if their aint a bunch in the tank. I have like 8 or 10 in a 20g Tall. No fights, some chases but no fights lol.

And they love to nibble on plants!
