Default Threadfin rainbow Q.
I'm planning on buying a small school of them for my hex tank. Is it better to buy them in 1 male 2 female raitos, or should I buy them in another raito?

I'm planing on about a dozen or so.

If they are anything like the other rainbows I would go with the 1 male to 2 or 3 females. I have turqoise and P.Signifer and the males really tend to bother the females when its time. I think I lost 2 Signifer females b/c the males just wouldnt leave them alone. The ratio was 5 males and 3 females.
