We have a homepage?! Haha, just kidding. But seriously, I would never have know about the change unless I read this announcement. My "favorites" link brings me straight to the forum. The new design looks okay, but I'm one of those folks that doesn't adjust well to change. It will grow on me though.

Viewing the site with Safari 3.1.2 on a Mac. Overall looks good, but the main navigation bar is bumping into the Google ad up above and so is pushed off to the right of the screen dramatically.

I didn't go hunt down the css, but at a guess I'd say that there is a float: right; applied to the google ad box, and the navigation bar is attempting to run-in beside it. Maybe a clear:both; applied to the nav bar would solve the issue?

Otherwise, it looks nice. Cheers!

I for one love it! I think that it has a more inviting look to it and a more professional look also.

Some display problems with Apple's Safari browser. The menu bar with Forum, Plantfinder, Fertilator, etc is shifted all the way to the right.

This is exactly what I thought. I'd been looking through the forums and had no idea the home page had changed until I found this thread.

Anyway, the new look is nice and professional, and I like not having everything go out of bounds due to pictures.

I took a look the other day after Cavan posted. I noticed I could not see
much of the right side content; however; I never run full screen on my laptop.
My direct link also takes me to forums, so I do not see the homepage all that much.
In the forums apparently there is no "fixed width" attribute, in the css,
which is great because everything re-sizes just fine.
On the homepage it seems there might be a fixed width attribute.

On the plus side, I like the clean, light appearance; it gives content
the spotlight which is what a front page should do.

I am new member of this forum and I don't have experience with crowdreport but I do have experience in wordpress maintenance. I must say re-designing a website is not an easy job especially if there is a bug exist. That bug would make the designer life terrible.

So far I like this forum design. I have just one comment... Home page is taking too much time to load may be because of high resolution images. If you could increase load speed that would be great!
