hi anybody run into this and have a solution? i have a 360 gal discus set up with a back central overflow. my tetras keep going into the iverflow and i need to solve it. thanks bryant

Hmmmm, how to put this? Let's just say if you knew him....you wouldn't be inclined to think that was the explanation. That is about the most PC and family friendly way I can put it. lol

I am going to assume that you have a contiuous siphon type overflow. If the problem is that they are jumping into it I have seen a solution that may work. One person I know of with a wet/dry had the same problem and he put pantyhose over and around the siphon box. If they jump onto it they quickly flip their way off. I suppose you could also use a media bag or anything like that. Strange thing was, he wasn't married and didn't have a steady girlfriend......so I was afraid to ask where he came up with the pantyhose at. Some things I just don't want to know to keep my sanity.......

You can also get very course prefilters for the overflow. It will still let through tons of water but will keep fish and alrge particles out.

Mine recently clogged but that was after 6 months and dozens of tank clouding replants.
