Default Deionized Water

For those of you running RO water in your tanks do you deionize your water? Is there really and benefits to doing so? Thanks for the advice in advance!

i run ro/di water in my fw planted tank...

well...

2/3 ro/di and 1/3 tap.

i dechlorinate with novaqua and put in some cycle...that's about it.

i noticed that if i use 100% ro/di...my plants dont like it and dont grow well (also pH fluctuates because i use co2 injections and my kh gets way too low). if i use 100% tap dechlor with cycle...i get too much nuisance algae...

so, for my tank...the ratio that i found that works is the one i listed...
