Hello all, i am new and starting a planted tank. I new at this and have done much research about this. I was wondering would the rock size of the rock in my 29g tank be good for planting plants? I know its not the right amount, but i have more and will put it in once i get everything nesicary for plants. I will get more pictures of the rock but my camera is dead now and is charging.
Substrate rock?... If so, from the pic it looks a little large. You should go with a rock size of 2-3mm. If you have seen Eco-complete or Flourite that is the size you should go for.
If by 'rock' you mean 'substrate', then what Trena says is correct. If you're asking our opinion on the large rocks in the tank, imo, you have too many of them there. It's overwhelming to the tank.
