Some new (and not-so-new) leaves are coming in/turning orange. Older leaves are remaining green. Is this a sign of a fert problem?

If so, is it more likely an excess of something or a deficiency?

I generally add a home brew made from Watson ferts. I'm setup so that If I dose my 46g w/ 100mL, I've added a full, fertilator recommended dose of everything. I typically add about 75mL over the course of a week and do a 40-50% PWC every 2-3 weeks. I have a single 96W PC (6700K) over the tank and 2x 1gallon DIY for CO2.

The sword, bacopas, vals all have grown a lot since I got them - I'm just concerned because this is a new thing for the sword to be doing...

I prefer to add macros to the substrate. This works best with amazon swords. Since algae do not grow in the substrate, there is less chance that the algae can take off with the nutrients in the substrate.

There should be sufficient N and P with an adequately stocked tank (fish poop). I only add K and micros to the water column.

I do try to squirt a few mL of my mix into the substrate around the sword weekly.

I'm not even sure what type of sword I have (Petsmart purchased). If it's an Ozelot or Melon, I think the color is normal. If it's an Amazon, I'm not so sure...

Unless the coloring is not white or yellow it is not a problem. Most of the new sword leaves -under ideal conditions and high light, comes orange or red and then turns to green as they grow old. That is the only thing I like about the swords. They are all huge monsters for me.
