Cool SoilMaster Select in San Diego

I'm buying SMS from Lesco on Friday, I talked to one of the guys today and he said they will order the CHARCOAL stuff so they should have it on stock for next week.
Get it while they have it.

WOW, were you the one who convinced the store?

Hmm, sadly, it is the 55g tank in Orange County, not the tank to be in San Diego, that will need the SMS Select. *contemplate* Maybe I can store it in my apartment room, and take it up the next time I go home...

Well, thanks so much for the heads up!

Not sure how much they are getting but seems like finally somebody is triying to test the product for the trade, hopefully we can get some of our local retailers interested in it.
I can see this product maybe on the bulk bins of some of the local pet places at 80 cents a Lb they will double their money and it will still be affordable for us. Just an idea.

I've been trying to get some folks to do it. It's possible Aquatic Warehouse is the one as the last time I asked if they were interested in an inexpensive source for substrate they were already aware of SMS.

My thought - if they can get Lesco to carry it regularly, we can go straight to Lesco and get it cheaper while the ignorant masses still buy it at a 100-200% markup.

Even at 100% markup, SMS is pretty much worth it for the sheer quantity. I mean c'mon, $18 x 2 = $36 for a 50 lb bag.

I just don't get why Lesco refuses to regularly stock it on the West coast. Particularly that darn Anaheim store.

At Target specialty I got two bags for 28 dollars... It was the red stuff, but I am sure they can get another color. I mean if your going for cheap thats the way to go.

Turbomkt was the one who told me about target specialty. I think I am one of the only ones who has gone to them though. They where very helpful.

*shakes fist* I want the black stuff.

Do any of you know if I could have a bag transported by Lesco from SD to the Anaheim store? I really want to have it in my tank before I leave for school...
