Default Riccia foreground and wall?

Hello, i'm currently doing a 2.5g tank rimless with 10watts 8,000k lights and internal filter with diy co2. I recently have a mesh cover with riccia like a sandwich on the ground and wall. I was wondering if someone esle have done this before. Mostly the wall of riccia. I started on May 9th and i can see the riccia growing out of the mesh but it'll take at least 3 weeks before it overtakes the metal mesh. I will provide pictures a.s.a.p. I also have micro-sword grass growing on the side.

sorry, I recently constructed a riccia wall for the background, and the same for the foreground, I was wondering if anyone has done this before, it's only been one week. It'll take 2 more weeks before it'll fully grown and overtake the mesh. Please click on the picture to make it bigger. Tell me what you guys think.

Yes, it will work, and it will look good.

I have seen people add (in this order):
1) their growth medium
2) a layer of riccia (wherever they didn't want an aquascaping rock)
3) a layer of mesh
4) large aquascaping rocks where the riccia isn't, to hold down the mesh and thereby all of it.

This is basically the same as what you've done.

As long as you have good lights and CO2, it'll look great.
