Default plant recommandation for 6gallon nanocube

Hi guys, looking to get back into the hobby after a 3 year break, going to go with a nanocube 6g (dont have time for bigger tanks), have a few questions:

1) The nanocube 6 gallon comes with this lighting: http://www.jbjlighting.com/pics/Lo/6g-Nano-Lamp-Lo.jpg However i cannot find a compatible replacement with 6700K temp for freshwater planted, can someone give a link where i can buy them.

2) What kind of plants would you recommend? I plan to keep it very simple, add eco-complete or ada substrates and that's it. No co2 injection, no additional nutrients injection, will probably put a betta or a school of golden white clouds with a few cherry shrimps. Will be using stock 6700k lighting(see 1), so 18W or about 3WPG, but with such a low wattage it's more like 2WPG in a higher wattage/larger tank.

3) Is the tank cracking issue fixed? I know when the nanocube 6g first came out a lot of them were cracked over time, did they ever fix it? i live on the high floor of an apt so if the water leaks it will be a complete disaster.

thanks, cant wait to get back in the hobby *twitches*

Just make sure you figure out whether it's straight or square pin.

2) DHG and glosso are common choices for what you're doing. The plant finder database can help you track down a lot of the rest. 3wpg is going to be pushing things; I guess you'll feel it out as you go along.

3) No clue.

once you figure out it is straight or square pin on the bulb than you should find them on ebay easily.

Sag subulata, a few baby crypt wendtii, and maybe some corkscrew val? They all deal well with low light and you have a foreground mid and background covered.
