Exclamation Needle Valve Part

Anybody know where I can get this piece? (preferably locally, but online will do I guess) I just snapped mine off
I called GLA and got no answer, left a message to have them call me back and havent heard anything yet.....

I need the piece circled in green if I can get it by itself...

Thanks!

BTW, I contacted two of my largest LFS and the welding supply place "Airgas" that I get CO2 cyliner exchanges. And its a no go

I'm taking a guess. I'm not really familar with GLA's regulators or that particular needle valve. Anyway, it could possibly be a:

Clippard MCV-1AA check valve, #10-32 ports: http://clippard.com/store/display_de...sp?sku=MCV-1AA

or

Clippard 11999-BLK Short Coupling, #10-32: http://clippard.com/store/display_de...?sku=11999-BLK

Its the MCV-1AA (after hours of research I finally came across it), if I could only get GLA to call/email me back or answer the phone I could get one sent to me.......

Thanks for the heads up though, woulda been a lifesaver if I didnt find it just this afternoon. lol.....

I'm glad that you found what you needed.

Your needle valve and check valve uses the tiny #10-32 threads that can break very easily. Many of us have broken those threads. Just be careful with it. The added girth and weight of the bubble counter make your threads much easier to break.

You can make a modification to your regulator that will make it stronger and also have a better needle valve. You can easily convert it to parts that use 1/8" NPT threads which are much stronger. You can use either the Ideal "1" series needle valve or a Fabco NV-55-18 needle valve. You can still use your solenoid and bubble counter. Just send me a PM if you are interested. I can give you the part numbers and where to get them. I do not sell them, though.

Orlando can fix you up with either of these options as well.

I recently switched from the old trusty clippard valves to the Fabco NV-55. I am very pleased.
