cut the bad roots but leave the good roots uncut... yellow is iron/nitrate/potassium def. if I remember right. what's your lighting, the plant leafs could also be getting to much light, also the riz. should not be now in the substrate or in driftwood. use some fishing line to tie it around the driftwood.

I tool out the plant from the driftwood. The rhizome was in a foam and smells badly. Two rhizomes from three I threw away. The last one you can see in the picture below. It becomes very dark and still smells a bit. Can I keep it or will still continue to rot?
There are two leaves the got broken form their rhizomes and I just tied them up to another rhizome. Can those leaves continue to live?
