Default For those who use Lily Pipes

For those of you who use Lily pipes how are you preventing the Protein building up at the surface? Are you adjusting the pipes to the surface a bit?

I never had this problem before with just using a HOB?

If adjusted just right they form a little whirlpool which prevents the surface slime.

The whirlpool effect depends on how strong the filter. It will create the vortex in any hight nor left or right.

I suppose my pipe is too low below the surface. Do you guys mind taking a pic of your pipes location so I can see exactly where to put it?

I set my lily pipe @ about 2 in bellow water surface.
Yes it depend on the filter's output.
