Plant Points:
Default Sponge Filter, DIY CO2

Hey all,

Just had a quick question. I set up my first NPT, and am wanting to add some DIY CO2 as well. However, Im using a sponge filter. Would it be feasible to turn off the filter during the day, and then run it at night when the lights go off and the plants stop using the CO2? Or would ~8 hours with no aeration be harmful to my fish? The tank is 25 gallons
