I've just recieved my 2 bunches of Rotala Macrandra and boy, do I love them. They're so beautifully red and bushy. But I'm worried that I can't maintain them for long. I'm getting a shipment of 2xT5HO in a week or 2 but for now there's are my spec..

20g High 24 inches wide by 13 inches deep by 17 inches high
T8 8000k Daylight Full Spectrum and a T5 Daylight(Not sure which spectrum, bought it at a hardware store)
Substrate: FloraMax
Fert: Flourish Excel, and Flourish

Planning on doing paintball co2 within a week or 2 also

They will live for a week or two in your tank, though they are a high light, CO2 loving, fertilizer guzzling plant.

Aquat

I'm planning on buying 2x T5HO 6500k and a 10,000k with paintball co2. But for now, I'm trying to balance the light w/ the co2. That's why I'm only dosing Excel. And it's doing wonders. It grew an inch within 3days and it's just as red.
