Default Plant bubble or not plant bubble...

That is the question
Two days ago I have reintroduced co2 to the aquarium. I am afraid that this could be a bad sign of algae. Anyone has this?

Thanks for your help

You have Utricularia gibba. It is a flowering plant, not a hair algae, but it might as well be one. Most people try to get rid of it.

Wow, that is a mouth full. I really think they are the roots of the fox tail they are attached to it. I could be wrong. I worried about the little bubbles. I don't think the plant would bubble this much.

The bubbles are fine. There is nothing to worry about. In fact, what would you think would be the problem with bubbles? as long as the plants aren't floating away or anything, they will be fine.

No...those aren't roots. That's Utricularia gibba, just as PK said. It wraps itself around and through plants. Trust me....the bubbles aren't your problem...the gibba will soon become one for you.

The bubbles are just oxygen released from the plant because it is growing (thanks to the co2). It is a good sign! I don't have any experience with gibba, but as DonaldmBoyer said, that is your first concern, and I heard more people about this.

Ok. I'll pull the plant out and see how it is attached. There are not that many of them.
Can I just cut the top of the Green fix tail (i dont think that even is fix tail) and re plant it? Would that take care of the problem or should I just pull out everything.
Note: in about 2 weeks I'll upgrade to a bigger fish tank and I'll be getting new plants. But I would like to keep my DH.
Thanks all for pointing that out.
