Default Sera Plant Care Set - With Co2 reactor

Hi,

This set comes with a "co2 reactor" and "tabs plus" apart from the other fertilizer stuffs. As stated on the instruction sheet, this unit needs to be placed just below the water surface.

Step 1: i placed the unit just below the surface of the water
Step 2: then i fixed in the rubber stopper
Step 3: i dropped 1 tablet into the given slot
Step 4: gas started generating and small bubbles started to disperse into the tank thru small holes below the reactor.
Step 5: Lasted only 30 seconds
Step 6: No bubbles left, everything is finished

I cannot re-try as i have already used 1 tablet/ will try again after 1 day.

Have i done sumtin wrong or is it this way it is done.

Please advise./ went for this as i was advised and read many sites that seachem excel is bad for vals and egeria... which i have in the tank...

appreciate prompt response.

It's not a very effective setup. The reactor is nice but well, the tabs doesn't last very long. Though the tabs are ment to last alot longer. It can be a hit and miss.
