anybody know where i can get rasbora espei? i'm getting around 6-8 of them for my 5gal. aquascapes had them awhile back but now it's all gone (i was too late) and jojo said he might not get it because of slow sales for that fish... (he might if he finds a small batch)

Too bad you only got a 5 gal. I was thinking of getting rid of mines if I could find a good home for them. But, I think 20 of them in that size of a tank would be way overkill. Try Moanaloa pets by Ice Palace. They usually carry those rasbora's.

Oh yeah, also check out Pet's Discount by Target if you head down that area. They usually have them too. You just gotta be careful because sometimes because they have both the regular harlequin's and the pork chops(espei) all in the same tank under the same name. Here's my disclaimer though, I don't advocate buying from pet's discount just because I have not had any good experiences with them. The only thing that is still alive that I have bought from them is my bn pleco which is about 4 years old.

I don't think they had these particular ones last Friday when I was looking around. They do have Boraras Briggittae (sometimes called mosquito/micro rasboras) pretty cheap but, not as vibrantly colored as aquascapes.

went to moanalua pets. they only have harlequins and boraras... oh and nokturnal, how big are your espeis now? might be able to put the rest of it in my 20gal.

About half of them that are fully grown, so about 1.5". Lmk if you can't find some in a week or two. I might let some of them go anyways. I kinda wanted to increase my rummynose population anyways. Just to let you know though, for some reason, my rasbora's think they are kamikaze's or something. They just tend to fly out at you when you feed them. Lol. Oh yeah, try Coralfish too. I've seen espei's there before but I haven't actually been there in quite a while. Haven't had time to go fish shopping in a while.

update: dropped by aquascapes and they had some! bought 8 of them yay!
