Yeah, well, I poked through mud all over half the state trying to turn some up. Now I just have to search the other half :P Maybe also RI for good measure. It's just a matter of time, I tell you!

I did find that cute little Isoetes species though... that was worth the effort.

I'm always game for info on places to examine. :P I've been looking up records of occurrences from UConn trying to track down a population, but the coordinates aren't terribly exact, so there's not much luck thus far... also I try not to invade people's backyards, which unfortunately make up a good chunk of the state. The nerve of people, putting their stupid backyards where I want to collect plants!

But, yes. RI. Not going to go there unless I have a carful of people to split the gas (it's a 2-3 hour hike depending on where in the state I go), but I might take a day trip there one of these days. Hunting in western CT is much more doable, though.
