I am joining this club to share my ideas and also need help in improving my planted tanks.....

Default Here's my 100Gallon AMAZON TANK

thanks for u r replies.. .....here s my 100g Amazon tank....

breifly to say....It s JEWEL RIO 400 tank gifted to me by Mr. Steve McGuigan from Rugby UK......THANKS FOR HIM.... as I was a student then...

then coming to my Flora and Fauna...

It s a kind of not a hi- fi ..tank set up ..but STEVE gave me a good start...

Flora- 5 AMAZON SWORD, Anubias Nana on bog wood , Microsorum
Pteropus 'Windeløv' on bog wood
Fauna- 6 Scissor tails, 10 Neon tetras, 6 silver bala sharks, 6 black neons,
7 Dwarf Neon rainbows, 12 Heralquin Rasboras, 3 Angels
( 1 breeding pair), 4 X-ray tetras, 12 Kribs,4 Clown loaches...

Substrate- 2 inches sand, 4 inches Quartz gravel

Filteration- inbuilt Jewel filter, fluval 304

Pressurised CO2- Aqua Medic set up ...... 1 bubble every 4secs...controlled along with the lights on off timer

Lighting - nothing special 2 x 40 watts Sunglo and aquaglo tubes 12 hrs.

Fertilizer - API's LEAF ZONE as per directions of the manufacturer...

Water - Tap water (water change every week 15%)
There is algae ...gowing on some of the older leaves ...left it for my AMANO shrimps to feast on them.....
Here s my AMAZON TANK............please send u r comments on this low tech tank...


I managed to upload this pic ..but I am not sure guys how it will appear...please suggest how I can upload my photos in the best way...
I hope you will be able to enjoy my AMAZON TANK photo...
