Hi all

I've been raising fish for many,many years but have never tried live plants in my tank. I have had fake ones but after seeing some planted tanks i've decided I really like the live plant look better so i'm just doing some research. Probably won't go full into a planted tank but a few live plants here and there sounds like a good idea to me.

Welcome to APC! You may think you only want a few live plants, but it's really quite addicting. Soon you will be getting another tank so you have room for all the must have plants. Don't worry though, it's a fun addiction.

Thanks for the welcome. It's possible that I'll become addicted, i'm already addicted to the fish, this is just another avenue for that addiction the way I see it.

I do have a spare 20 gallon that would work for a planted tank

Ya man live plants are definitely addicting. Once everything starts growing it just makes you want to get more.
