Hi. I'm not just new to this site but to this hobby in general. I just got a 55g tank (48" long) as a gift and was speculating on what I really wanted to do with it when I came accross this site. I have a long background in art, and have been frustrated with traditional media for years. The pictures of the featured tanks on this site enthralled me. I don't have my tank set-up or planted yet being one of those people who has to get everything as close to perfect as possible the first time around so I'm taking my time. I just wanted to thank all the members on this site who have posted such comprehensive information and I look forward to being a part of this community
