Welcome to APC Michelle, and Howdy from the opposite edge of Texas' Piney Woods.

If you're looking for low-no maintenece check the El Natural forums. Set ups using this method range from nothing plugged into a wall except lights to unfiltered water movement with occassional nutrient supplementation.

If you want high tech, get ready to check out forums and threads on proper lighting, filtration, CO2 injection (do-it-yourself versus pressurized), fertilizer dosing, et cetera.

Either way, do A LOT of research before making any concrete decisions.

Also check out the Journals forum to check out what other folks have been experiencing throughout their setups. There's a ton of information on this site and a wealth of experienced knowledge. Dive in an have fun.
