I found out about APC a few years back from a friend on another forum! I was looking into planting a couple of my tanks and found this site to be a great resource for all of my endeavors! I am a true lurker who rarely posts but still come for great information whenever I need it!

Hello all, I found this site while doing research for my latest tank project, I am about to start building a 500 or so gallon tank that I want to eventually have fully planted with large schools of community fish. It's going to be a total DIY project with me even building the filtration, co2 regulators and lighting.

During many web searches for information regarding planted aquariums I kept finding myself on aquatic plant central forum pages. The members of APC seemed to have an indepth amount of knowledge and experience in planted aquarium management. (Do's and Dont's) It seemed to be a good place to land and share some of my high's and low's while learning more about my hobby.
