 Hello from the south Texas coast
My first planted tank was a 90 gallon, with soil/vermiculite, CO2 and PMDD back in 1994 when we lived in Austin. The tank was very successful and all my trimmings and extra plants went back to the Austin LFS for trade. I was an active member of the old Aquatic Plants Mailing List, and I've noted some of my ramblings are still on TheKrib.
We moved to the beach in Rockport 10 years ago and kept a 220 gallon reef tank for 9 years. Recently, I tore down the reef and I'm in the process of converting back to a planted tank. I'll post pictures soon, but I'm using Turface, CO2 and PPS. My last plant shipment is supposed to arrive today. I'm very happy to be back in freshwater! |
