Hi - my name is Mitch. I ran a pretty sophisticated reef tank setup for ~5 years while I lived in Madison. When I moved across country I had to sell it all. I'm settled now and decided to try something different - a freshwater Planted Tank. So I'm new to Freshwater and all that goes with it. My brand new tank is the Fluval Studio 900, 47 gallons, 100 lbs of Eco Complete substrate, rocks and driftwood. Fluval 305 canister filter, 2 T5 HO lights.
Hi Mitch. I live just south of Denver in Centennial. The Colorado Aquarium Society is a pretty good group. There is a Colorado thread on the planted tank website. There is also a cichlid society in Denver which is pretty active.
What plants are you thinking about?
