Hello everyone,
There is only a month left to go until the APC contest is closed for submissions (ends December 1st).
One detail that I would like more people to work on is the journals. It is a really easy way to gain a few extra points, plus show other would be aquascapers how to setup (or prepare for contest, or maintain) their own successful layout. It is not a requirement to enter, but why would you put yourself at a slight disadvantage when the competition may be intense?
How do you write a journal? Easy. Post in the APC Journal subforum:

What should you include in a journal? You should include setup information which may include the following: lighting, substrate, fish choice, plant choice, hardscaping choice. Outline your goals as to what you want to achieve in the layout.
Show us how you prepare your tank for a competition.
Here is a model example of a journal, although it does not have to have quite such good photos:
Norbert 48 lts
Instead of showing us your final tank photography, you can always give us sneak peak shots like Norbert has done:
The best journals may be turned into aquascaping articles on this and other sites as an educational tool if the journal owner permits.
Good luck to all,
Carlos
