After I started using NilocG dry EI liquid diy fertilizers my plant growth has at least increased by 3x or so lol, crazy! so I had to do a trim on my ludwigia arcuata. And the carpet is finally growing back after a week of staying low to the ground. Good things good things! also have a pregnant CPD which is interesting, fry most likely wont survive if they even hatch from the eggs that they scatter around. But who knows maybe they will, maybe ill just have to purchase another tank..... darn

Just received some amazing Sy. Belem!
Hope it lives im putting it in the exact opposite conditions it thrives in that being hard alkaline water...
Overdose on fertilizers though so I hope that has a positive effect.
Wish me luck with this plant ill try to get some pictures tonight

also thinking of starting a nano SW tank as that may be my first one if I go along with the plan I have.... muahaha..
Anyway I have to thank @strungout for the plants I got from him, awesome and got a couple extra plants of a different kind to which was very nice! Hopefully they do good in my tank. Some of the stems already are practically dragging atop of the water since they are so tall.

Trimmed the tanks middle PW section, half way down since it was getting kind of To wild.. Got banned on TPT for reporting a moderator (somewhatshocked) and unfortunately most of my really good friends were on that forum... now I guess ill have to truly move onto greener pastures.. Sadly, but it will have to do. Therefor I guess ill be updating on here more often, just because of the spare time I got. :(
Good news; the indica I got is super straight and adds a good pinkish, but green and yellow mix to my other iwagumi tank I have... well hybrid iwagumi.. lol :)

It's looking good.. keep the updates! [emoji106]
Don't be afraid of throwing plants out and adjust with others.
I had this scape..:

Now, adjusting (I mainly get rid of the high maintenance plants) little by little it looks completely different.
It looked poorly for a while because now I only have slow/medium growth plants.. so, it's taking it's time to look decent BUT we can agree this is a life time hobby (at least to me :p)

Thank you hoppy;
The CPD's are all acting extraordinarily well with shrimp, no offspring I have seen, have been killed by them. They are one of the most peaceful fish I think I've acquired and many beg to differ! Tank right now (this is just in general btw) is no Co2 but when I get into the house (NOT EVEN HALF A MONTH THANK GOD) im going to go ahead and rip the carpet out fully, and replace it with either DHG or glosso, maybe dbt, idk really yet... And ill add co2 and such... Gotta remove the reineckii as to me its to much of a disturbance in the tank but ill probably do a rescape when I get into the house anyway of the whole tank because its:
!!!!The Tank Is Officially One Year Old!!!:whoo::roll:

Well I just got done going through a huge adrenaline rush...
My mom was spraying (basically deet) her insect repellent on herself about a foot away from my tanks, and she sprayed ALOT of it to.
So I didn't think anything of it I was like "hey next time don't do that next to my tanks PLEASE" So I keep going through my day, get ready to do my weekly water change and then I see 7 shrimp laying on the table.
I immediately go into "wtf?" mode questions why they would jump
Then I hear my filter
"GURGLE GURGLE GURGLE" as it overflows with foam
Then I go into "WTF IS GOING ON" mode
Then (x3) i do a 97 percent water change and clean out all my filter media (some is inaccessible) then refill with the usual DI water...
and now im typing this, my hands are still shaky...
