Most all plants are out of my tank. Probably 150% of water changed due to so much debris stirred up. Fish cowering in corners. TONS of plants pulled out. Not all are going back in the tank. New T5HO bulbs. Rocks and DW going in. Looking forward to a different scape! Company is coming tomorrow so I have to finish this tonight! Yikes!!!

Near empty tank

Plants in bags

Plants in 18"X24"X8" tote- full of stems and anubias

Driftwood

White/Pink/Yellow Quartz

Put the rocks in and just a few plants. Too cloudy for me to see enough to put plants and wood in tonight. Hopefully this afternoon I'll get the rest in. Company arrives late tonight.

No, Don, Bill won't help. It's not really something he can do since the scape is in my head. He did get me out the wood and rocks.

I'm laughing and "smilin' out loud" thinking about the tank pic and Michael's comment about getting a PAR reading...wowzers! And with all the bags of plants it looks like you could open a store.
That was certainly an unexpected post. I look forward to seeing how you have it in your head. The rock is gorgeous, and it'll be interesting to see how well the algae keeps off of it once it settles in.

Patiently anticipating the progress shots...

Got it all back together. Looks so muck better. Going to be nice as crypts grow in and stems foil in. Have a ton of plants to sell and no time to sell them.

It looks very pretty. And for the excess plants you can just buy another aquarium

I like the white rock in the back left behind the wood; it showcases the depth of the tank really well. The lighting is fantastic by the way. Is that with the T5-HO 6000K only? It is really crisp!

The last px was with just the Giesseman midday T5HO's only. Doesn't have the metal hallides on. It's only been a few days and it's already looking better and growing.

It's already beginning to fill in some. Our DFWAPC club meeting is Sunday at my house. Hope it continues to fill in. I think metal hallides might be washing out the color of some of the plants in these pxs.
