I got them off ebay of all places. Most arrived alive! I ordered 30 and I think 1 didn't make it. They were about $3 apiece. I haven't contacted the people yet for replacement/refunds. I thought it was 5 but turns out the others were just resting.

No these don't bury themselves under the substrate. They are great algae eaters I love how colorful they are
