...and this time with reducing conditions visible in the "soil" profile...just for Phil! (sorry, no pics of that yet; still having issues with electronics).

I am moving, but the actual move won't happen for a year, though it COULD happen within 3 months...just kind of depends on many factors. The bottom line is that we have to cut back to 1 aquarium in our lease, so a lot of water had to go.

Soooooo, I converted the 36 bowfront (formerly called "34 Rimless Bowfront") into the old wetland, using the same plants that were in the original 20 gallon tank so long ago (that tank got donated to a child interested in plants and herps...way cool).

I have had issues with camera-to-computer happiness, but I managed to get a few pics recently that will hopefully work now. Maybe some "before" pics can be added later if I can get all that figured out (hey, I'm a wetland specialist, not a computer programmer)

Well this is a bummer, or not.
Just when I am starting to wake up from my altered reality; no pics of the
wetland.
But the move sounds promising, so good deal.

I had noticed that no matter what I do, there are certain pictures
I cannot see in some forums. Anything in a thumbnail attachment box
for example. I have shut down all the nice "don't bug me" toys; still no
images in certain circumstances. Never had that prob before.
At least the famous Mudboots mascot is still creeping along . . .

It is the move to the new server. CrowdGather technical help has been notified about the missing thumbnails.

Thank you HeyPk! I spent way too much time trying to fine tune my filters.

Okay, so I'm going to try something else. This is a test pic which is actually an old picture from the original "Wetland" not to soon before I had to break it down the last time. If you see a pic it worked; otherwise I still have to scratch my bald head for a while...

Well, the Photobucket thing worked but I still get my pics called invalid when trying to upload from my PC; I guess the way it saves them either it locks them somehow or whatever by default, but they are small enough for sure. Anyway, I'll just do the Photobucket thing with these and see if that works:

Here I go...

And one last pic. I guess from now on I'll just have to use this method until I can figure out in what way my PC is saving jpeg files that makes them unhappy.

But I am happy to have the wetland back. The lighting is way too much for something emmersed and I know the Anubias are hoping that the Crypts will provide them with some shade soon, but it's been up for a few weeks now and everything seems to be doing very well.

Wow that is really neat. I like the way it looks like a submersed tank but its not. I think you might just have started a whole new genera of aquatic plant tanks. Instead of making nano tanks look like big tanks, you can make emersed tanks look like submersed tanks, and you can call it the "Mud-method."

Hah! Well, for what it's worth every plant species in there is a plant used in aquariums except the broad-leaved red plant (Syngo-something sp.)...it helps to replace the lotus I miss from the old 125...

The rest are Juncus repens, Crpyt. spiralis and retrospiralis, Anubias ans Riccia (plus a few others that have not filled in yet - Eleocharis acicularis, Lindernia grandiflora et cetera). All of these plants had been in one of my NPT's at one time or another.
