Great progression of the tank, Luis.

My photography is really bad, but I wll ask a friend to take a couple pictures for me. The tank is by no means ready there are many Cryptocorines that are yet to show their best, and is not until then that the composition will make sense.
Since I started this layout every single tank in my office has been changed with slow growing plants and finally I have a little more time. Working with stem plants is indeed just more work.

Looking good Luis. Too bad you can't use metal halide on this tank. Non the less, the tank looks awesome. Very impress with the growth so far. Layout changes to all the tanks? Now I got to make an appointment to go check it out.

Hey CArlos,

Are you sure it is the same tank you began with?

Initially, the centre bunch of C. Helferi (?) looked like an eyesore. Now that all the bck row plants have grown in, i must say that the tank looks very eye soothing.

i think it is a nice home for those rainbows (m. praecox?) .

my gripes are that somehow all the branches look as if they are a single piece and maybe you could have some smaller fishes. the smaller fishes would definitely enjoy swimming around in this tank

It's amazing to think that your tank evolved so well. I never could have guessed!

Is it possible to give us a list of plant species in this tank? I love some of the crypts and would like to know what type they are! Just a list should be fine, I will be able to find the plants from there.

By the way, I LOVE the tank. I'm 6 months into planted tanks and already I'm tired of stem plants, so I'm thinking of starting a similar low maintenance tank of crypts, java ferns, mosses, and anubias. Your tank really aged well, you have a real skill for seeing far into the future!

I know I have nothing fancy when it come to Cryptocorines, as far as I can remember I have lucens, pontenderifolia, retrospiralis, wendetti brown, green, and wendetti spp.tall, bolbitis. microsorum narrow cypherus helferii and Anubias nana and Java moss
