Default 5.5g No-Tech, low-light aquarium

Seeing as I put the original journal in the wrong place I'm going to repost it here. I've been on a low-tech tank kick lately and had an extra 5.5g laying around and we all know that an empty tank is a terrible thing to waste.

Stats:
5.5 All-Glass

14w NO "AquaGlo" T-8 bulb.
* I chose the Aquaglow because of the high amounts of red and blue radiation. Since there's not a lot of light being emitted I wanted to get as much photosynthetically useful radiation as possible. The tank is a little darker to the human eye, but it just adds a little mysterious feel to the tank.

Substrate- Layered FloraBase and Flourite with a thick EcoComplete cap. Local creek sand was used as a foreground.

I got the [awesome] wood from Luis almost two years ago and finally found a use for it. Gracias mi amigo!

Livestock- 5 shrimp

Plants- Narrow Leaf Java Fern, Cryptocoryne wendtii 'Tropica' and Green, and C. x. willisi, and Java Moss, Anubias barteri v. nana 'petite'

Placing of the wood-

Substrate added-

Planted-
