It's easier than most peple thinks. You just have to start out will clean healthy discus. Adult preferably or sub-adults. Don't do juvenilles as they don't grow well in planted tanks.

I agree... and your fish are beautiful! I miss my discus and cannot wait to set the tank back up. I am trying to be patient and wait until after I pick, purchase, and move into a new house, so I do not have to stress them out with multiple moves.

Gorgeous setup!

Can we get some details... filtration, parameters, dosing, how often do you do water changes... all the stuff some find boring but make the system work

I have a 210 reef ready that I would like to convert to freshwater but am not sure about the overflows and plants doing so well together

Fish are amazing! Tank is gorgeous. I really love the rocks holding the banks of the river back. Reminds me of some places in Virginia.

I'd love to be a discus living in your tank! It's awesome

Amazing. Looks very clean and tidy for a discus tank. Your fish are also great-looking.

Could you please tell us the stats- what is the temperature, water change regime, water parameters, fert dosing regime, what kind of foods and how often are you feeding? Thank you for posting!

Best,
Fandango
