I love your tank!

It’s amazing you got those long-finned red glo-light, what a lucky breeding!
Who likes cucumbers in your tank?

My plecos, my flying foxes, my snails, the black mollies, they all like cucumbers. They like them much better than zuchini. They also like peas but I have to peel them - what a pain! I don't do that often.

Thanks for the positive comments. My plants are growing like crazy. I need to trim the sunset hygro, R. Macrandra, Pogostemon Stellatus, Stargrass, Ludwigia Repens. The nesea is finally growing some.

Lovely tank, Tex Gal I still have the plants you sent to me, and hopefully they'll flourish in my new setup. Your tank really makes me want to move on to something larger. Maybe I'll follow your lead and get a 75 gal for Christmas this year

Ok here is my lame attempt to get a px of my yellow congos. I just couldn't capture them at the angle to show the shimmering rainbow colors on their sides! I got them about 3 months ago as fry. They are FINALLY starting to color up. They were playing tonight and look so beautiful. I can't wait 'til they get as big as my blues. Wonder what they will look like then?!

inareverie85 - Thanks! and great about the plants! So glad they are ok. Hope they do well for you too. No matter how large you go you never have enough room!!

Foofooree- That is Ranunculus inundatus! It's such a cool low growing plant.

Well I'm working on my tank again. Doing quite a bit of re-arranging. I've decided to try to get a hold of my collectoritis in my tank. I have totally gotten rid of my L. repens, sunset hygro, a variegated sword, stargrass,& both apons. I have bunched my drift wood together, making kind of a forest. I've moved my rocks just a tad. I have redone my nana petite. I'm still not quite done. I might loose the L. aromatica as well.

I am working on circulation and CO2 output. I am anticipating my new light and want to make sure I don't end up with huge algae issues.

I'll post pxs when I'm done.

I have been waiting for your new light. I cannot wait to see the new pix. I might inherit a 90 gallon tank and everything I have learned from you and everyone on APC can be put into use. Can you describe your new light set up?
