No more humidity needed in Houston for sure. Getting ready to begin the weekend planting all that you sent. Will keep you posted with pics.

It's pretty hot here in DFW area too! They are saying in the 100's this weekend.

Can't wait to see your tank when you're done!

It looks really good now and it's going to be great when your background fills in. I'm glad the new substrate is working out well, it seems like everything is making a good comeback from the dust bowl times.

The difference is incredible! I would look at pxs of other's tanks on the forum and just long for my tank to be "polished water". Now it is! And everything is growing so well. It really makes a difference. Thanks!

Thanks ZooTycoonMaster. I do like my tanks- but there are SOOOO many gorgeous ones out there.... Both my tanks need to fill in.

Just got a line on some weeping moss. Can't wait to have that weeping done my rock ledges. I think that will look really neat.

I'm getting wood floors in the next couple of weeks and need to move the tank. Hopefully I can just take most of the water out (except an inch or so for the fish and scoot it over 10 feet into the kitchen. Then fill it back up with the old water. Do the whole thing again when the floors are done. We'll see. What a pain, but it has to be done! I sure don't want to uproot everything all over again.....

The wood floors are going to be great and I'm sure you'll love them. It's so nice having easy cleanup around the aquariums. I did something similar with my tanks but my biggest is only 44 gallons and that sucker was really hard to move over the carpet. Then it was quite easy to move back when I had the wood floor done. How much help are you going to have to move it? I managed the 44 on my own so a few strong guys should be able to get your tank to its temporary home.

Boy Catherine! I'm impressed that you could do the 44g by yourself!
I think we'll have 4 men. Surely they can move it. I'll take out most of the water and all of the rocks. I have lots of 5g buckets to put the water in so I can put back at least 50% of the same water. Then we'll do the whole thing in reverse a couple days later.

My hubby says, "It's a shame you have to move it when you just now have it like you want it." O well.... I'm more excited to have to wood floors!!
