I'm trying hard to get over it. I'm afraid I might be sliding some plants back in... I might need professional help.

Got my tank moved back to it's original place. I have a few sick plants due to the move. Erio type 2, Tonia sp belem, and my Ludwigia pantanal. I sure hope they recover. I see a little BBA trying to get a foothold. I'll turn up the CO2 and spot treat with excell. Last week was crazy. Could hardly get to the tank. So glad it's over. Hopefully the tank will rebound quickly. Working on getting stainless steel screening to attach my weeping moss to my rock ledges. It's gonna be nice if I can ever figure out how to do it!

I'm glad you made it through the 2 tank moves without any major issues. Hopefully everything will come back well for you now that you'll be able to get back to your tank maintenance routines.

p.s. You don't need professional help for your collectoritis, you need another tank!

Hey, TexGal! Glad to hear the tank move went well. I just got back from a week-long trip and came home to.......healthy plants! I couldn't believe it! And the Blyxa and Downoi you gave me are actually GROWING!!!

I thought for sure they would melt out in my "pseudo-mid-tech" tank. The only problem I noticed is that the rainbows had nipped the leaves from most of the Downoi when they got hungry, but it still looks healthy and the roots are growing deep. Thank you again SOOOOOOO much for those! I'll have pics to post soon now that the Hygro and Ludwigia are filling in the background.

How are the little 'bronze' fellas doing for you? Any new leaves shooting up yet?

-Dave

Hi TexGal, I have a very pleasant day to read your long thread. Great work you created, even with the difficulties of rescaping it again. You inspire me the way of patience in this hobby. After that will really enjoy looking at the tank with beautiful, colorful plants. Thanks for sharing it to us. Well done

Davemonkey- the little 'bronze' fellas are doing great! They are getting new leaves which amazes me. I expected to have to wait quite a while for any new growth. I guess they like my little shrimp tank. Tell your rainbows to cut it out with the downoi!!! That stuff is like gold to me! lol I finally have mine growing. It has taken me about 5 or 6 tries. Who knows how many plants I killed trying to get it to grow!

Foofooree - glad to hear about the blyxa! It's such a pretty plant. I love how it sways in the water.

Cpark - thanks for the kind words. I have surely had to have patience. So many plants I have had to buy again because of all my trials with the tank. I have also sold many when it was doing well. I guess it wouldn't be fun it was too easy. I do love this hobby!

Hey Hon!

Someone asked me how old my 'Kleiner bar' is and if I know where it originally came from... so I'm passing that question on to you, since you're the first person I know who had it? (BTW it's flowering again! woohoo!)
