Default 220g

Hello!
I finally decided to make a little bit larger aquarium. It's dimensions are 222x65x60 cm.
Glass thickness is 15mm.

Here are some pics of the stand. It's quiet big and heavy
It is made from 5cm thick chipboard.

In the second post there's an angled ceiling, suggesting its on an elavated level, are you sure your floor can handle the weight of this tank?

Other than that it looks like an awesome project to start, loving the stand!

There will be no problem with the carrying capacity of the floor because it is made of concrete beams with reinforcing bars.

Looking good so far, how much less money did you have to spend making the 220G yourself compared to buying a new 220G.

Those guys from the picture beneath the window have a little firm for making and arranging aquariums. They are my friends so we made it together and it was a little bit cheaper.

I left a hole for the bulk 32mm, it is going to be used for water changes. When I open the valve 35% of the water drains. No more buckets and wet floor

For substrate I used potting soil mixed with some iron suplementation. On top of it I put quartz sand granulation 1-3mm.
Potting soil was sunken for 3 weeks, then it was dried and sunken again.
