Devin,

Your Riparium designs are awesome and this one in particular is one of the most beautiful I've seen. You are an inspiration and I look forward to seeing more layouts from you!

The way that this design incorporates emersed growth in a stunning layout is what caught my eye with this concept. If you have done any plant-searching locally here in North America, most of what you see is emersed growth. This approach gives you a great way of recreating what you see along rivers, streams and lakes in 'our neck of the woods'.

It's quite evident Devin put alot of time, research and effort in both the tank and the article. That makes my job a heck of a lot easier, especially with how busy 'real' life has been for me lately.

Thanks, Devin, for contributing to APC and congratulations and a great tank!

I don't go back as much I would like to, next time I go I won't miss it...I remember though in the neighboring state of Colima, I would go there during the summer...my aunt had this water enclosure outside with a bunch of swordtails and cichlids endemic to the region. It's amazing when you can see these fish in their natural habitats.

Nice tank!!! A bit different from what I mostly see on forums but maybe thats why it's so nice, though.
