Default Gokova-Turkey

In 2003 and 2004 I had an opportunity to explore Gokova and Koycegiz area of Turkey (36.75th parallel, 28.25th meridian). I will try to write an article on the plant species I encountered in this area. Could you help me identify the species below? After writing the article to a Turkish magazine (Akvaryum Dunyasi Dergisi) I will summerize it here with the other photos.

Lots of Potamogenton, the 1st phot is likely a S. pectinatus, so called sago pondweed. Hard to say without the fruit on the other pondweeds.

#2 is not a plant, rather an algae, Chara.

3, not sure, but there are few creeping dicots so that will narrow things down.

4 Moss, likely fontenalis if it's cool water.

5. Pondweed

6. Could be Polygonum or a Nomophila/Hygropila

7. The grass is like a Sag

8. Blyxa or a Cyperus

you need flower etc for most ID's.

Regards,
Tom Barr

The article has been published. I thank Tom Barr for his help in identification of the species. I also thank publisher Tamer Ballicali who gave me the permission to insert the pages here. I am sorry for the ad on the third page. If the ad causes any inconvenience I'll cut it.

And this is the front cover of the journal:
