Ok..not MY local biotope, but it is local for someone
I have got a very general idea of Rotala indica ranges....Does anyone know of more specific info for a rotala indica biotope? ...might be interesting for the APC contest
Gomer, I saw pictures of R. rotundifolia growing in a small pond in the northern part of Vietnam. There were also some Rasboras in the pond, although I dont' know which species.
in Singapore, I have seen RR growing in sandy forest streams (dappled sunlight) with moderate current. The plants are a rich red and grow submerged by the bank (about a foot deep) in thick clusters, interspersed with tall hairgrass.
