Hello greetings from philippines, hi my name is roy,i see your post in beginners's guide to starting emmersed post #156, i see that you use some coke bottle cut between and make it like a dome like you mention on your post,i was wondering what type of soil you use, is your pot has a hole in it, and the water is just for humidity purposed only?, and why the cap of bottle is slightly open? ,

can i do it this method outside the house? with no direct sunlight just a shade from the sun will that enough for my plants to grow? i intend to do a really cheap way by reducing the energy consumption by not using of any lamp t5,led,t8 or sort of. lastly do you use any spray fertilizer?

Hi, i'm interested in setting up a 20 gal long tank with an undergravel filter and plants and I was hoping you would be willing to answer a few questions I had about it. If you wouldn't mind sending me a private message when you have the time that would be great.

Hi! I saw your name on a thread earlier and am hoping you can give me some advice. I live in Cle Elum, WA, so thought I would turn to a "local" so to speak. I am very new to the aquarium world and have lost my first 4 fish to cotton wool fungus. 3 guppies, and a pleco. I have an aquatic frog left now. Today I bought API fungus cure. Will this be safe for my frog? The frog seems to be okay for the most part thus far. I did notice a small thread of the cotton like fungus on it's tail end this morning. I first vacuumed my gravel, then added about a gallon of fresh water with stress coat. I let the water settle for about an hour and just added the fungus cure and am hopeful the frog will be saved. After this course of treatment, how long would you recommend I wait before introducing new fish? Thank you very much!!
