As far as killifish, there are so many kinds, from annuals to some that live several years. There are extremely shy (they only zip out to grab a piece of food) killis, and bold killis. Personally, I recommend a pair of Aphyosemion australe (the orange variety shows up well). They are fairly tolerant of a range of conditions, can be kept in containers as small as 2 gallons, and bold enough to take food (such as frozen bloodworms) from your fingers. |
I second the embers. Though they might not school as nicely in a 5g, they look GREAT.
