Will Mini Aqualight fit 2.5 gallon? - Nano Aquariums

Hi all, i'm kinda new to aquascaping and just purchased a Mini Coralife Aqualight and i'm not sure if it will fit a 2.5 gallon AGA. If not, i'd have to send it back

What wattage is the Mini Corallife Aqualight? If I remember correctly they come in two wattages: 10 watts and ~20 watts. The 10 watt is shorter so this will make a difference.

The one I have is 2x 9watt. It's 9 inches long, I don't mind the short length but i'm afraid the legs won't have any hinges to sit on.

I think you can buy different legs for many of those style of lights. You might just have to wait and figure it out once you get it. Unfortunately I don't know for sure either way. I had a different light in mind when you posted earlier.

that light will fit 'perpendicular' to the tank, or on top of the glass lid if you like - but you will have heat issues with the tank.

People have 'jury-rigged' legs for the fixture using legs for the larger Coralife fixtures, you can do a search on the forum (or at plantedtank.net) to find them.
