Default 30l Dennerle Nano Cube

Hi,

about 7 weeks ago I set this Dennerel Nano Cube up. It's not mine, so I see it once a week and keep the plants trimmed...

Here are some facts...

Tank
Nano Cube Dennere (30x30x35 cm LXWXH)

Lighting
Nano Light 11 Watt 6000K Nano Amazon Day

Filtration
Eheim 1211

CO2
Selfmade CO2 System

Substrate
DeponitMix

Hardsape
Wood and some "Rose Rocks"

Flora
Hemianthus callitrichoides “Cuba“
Lilaeopsis brasiliensis
Christmas moss (Vesicularia montagnei)
Cryptocoryne wendtii

Fauna
Cherry shrimps

Here are some pictures of the cube

And some closeups...

I'm still need a plant for the left corner behind the driftwood. The plant should be slow growing and shoud give a nice contrast. Maybe someone of you guys has an idea...

I hope you like the layout.

Thank you

Tasman

I love the layout, it looks great. You can tell your focal point is with that tree and moss you have going on. The only comment I got is that that piece of dw in the front right is a little distracting and seems misplaced. I would just remove that and put some more HC there.

Hey, nice tank. Simple yet beautiful.
Are you sure the crypt is wendtii? Looks like lucens to me. Plan on adding fish? I bet some red boraras would look nice in there.

Hey,

thank you for your comments. Well i wasn't sure about the C. Wendtii. Does anybody now for sure which one it could be?

C. balansae would be too tall for that tank. Keep in mind that the hight is just about 13 inch / 35 cm plus the the substrate.

We thought that the Boraras spec. "South Thailand" would be a nice addition or maybe a small version of Rasbora heteromorpha.

I would be glad to hear more from you guys...

I think adding more colorful fish with your already colorful shrimp, they will distract the eye too much away from your scape. I say get a small school of some smaller duller more natural looking fish that would fit your scape.

boraras urophtalmoides would look amazing in there. Or maybe sundadanio axelrodi.
I think that crypt is lucens.
