Default My 19 gallon tank

This is my first ever aquarium. I've set it up on november 2008. I have external home made filter and CO2 bottle. I will put some more pictures on net as soon as i will get some more time

This was taken today.

And this shoot was taken on second week of cycle. I had to big internal filter. And poor lightning system.

And some technical specifications.

Lights: 2x 24W T5
external 7 gallon filter (not shown on picture)
CO2 system with cylinder.

Does annyone have any sudgestions about puting the vegetation. I don't like it right now and i think i will rearange it in next week. I was thinking about throwing out middle root and shorten my Limophilia plant. I was also thinking about puting Alternanthera reineckii 'purple' on the first third on left side. So i would have Golden cut. Some sort of

Well i guess i owe you some new updates. Since this is my first tank, i learned quite a lot about keeping an aquarium.

I threw out midle root and bought some more plants. The aquarium now looks like this.

It still needs some adjustments. But i thnk it will go better

You could've arranged the wood somehow...but the more room to plant the better. I quite like both the before and after.

Looks really good. I like the latest version a lot. The only thing that looks out of place to me is the bacopa on the right side. I would move it just to the left of your red plant to provide a transition from the fine leafed green plant in the corner to the red plant. I think it will balance the look of the two fine leaf corner plants a bit better too. The only other upgrade would be to add a bit more slope to the substrate if you decide to do some plant movement again. That will give the tank more depth and make the middle open area look more open. Just a couple little tweaks because it looks quite nice right now.

Now you just need a school of some small fish to give a bigger feel.

Thank you for comments. I am still building it on right side of aquarium. I'll probably switch Limnophila Sessiflora with Pogostemon stellatus

About the fish. I was thinking of switching to celestial pearl danio. But they are quite rare and expensive in my country.

Time for some new update. I was on a vacation and left my aquarium to my brother. After a week of no triming at all, this came out

so i have done some triming and got this kinda form

And now i am wondering about my fishes. I have 2 dwarf gouramis and about 12 Tanichtys. I was thinking about getting Tanichtys out of aquarium and to put in 3 more gouramis. Will this do? Do i have to be carefoul about males? Like 1 male and 4 females?

thanks for helping
