Default oceanic BioCube 14

Hi everyone

I just set up this little tank... This is my first planted aquarium. Feel free to criticize

This picture was taken yesterday, 12 hours after set up. Going to start adding CO2 today.

I may be a newb, but it looks very nice to me. What do you have going as far as substrate/fertilizer/CO2? and im curious, what is that plant floating by the intake? I like it.

thanks a lot! that plant is hornwort, it won't stay there forever, but good at the beginning.
The substrate is 1 bag of Eco-Complete and some CaribSea sand at the front. For ferts I have Seachem line, but I haven't really started dosing yet. Doing some more research on that right now. For CO2 i have a GLA Waterplant mini system, set at approximately 1 bubble in 3 seconds.

Today is day 4 and most plants have started to grow.

I have 2 honey dwarf gouramis, and they really like to eat the "baby tears" plant... looks like they are determined to destroy it! ha

Oh i miss my BioCube. It cracked and I had to toss it. I think the 2011 earthquake here in VA might have been the reason? But before I had to dismantle it, it looked like this:
