Is it possible to plant a nano tank (lets say with HC and a few other plants not sensitive to Excel) and dose with EI along with Seachem Excel? Thus no co2 injection.
I was wondering if anyone has done this before and if so could you please give guidelines or tips on achieving this?
Hc usually needs co2 to form a really nice carpet. Personally never had success keeping it in a non co2 Excel only tank. Most stem plants will do fine with Excel only unless they are very co2 demanding plants. Try some mosses also. They can look great in a nano tank or any tank for that matter
